Hayden Panettiere wants to play a lesbian in the television series Heroes. Hayden, who plays Claire Bennet on the supernatural hit, is actively looking to have a lesbian fling with her nosy college roommate, played by Madeleine Zima in this season's chapter on redemption, reported the Sun.

Hayden, who finally wants to explore her bi-sexual side, told the press: "I kind of threw it out there. They [the writers] put you in relationships and I was like, 'Can I just be with a girl or something? Let's do that.'

"So they took it and ran with it."The creative team surrounding Heroes clearly jumped on the idea to portray the young actress in what we can only hope will be some serious girl-on girl-action.

Regarding filming the successful show, Hayden says she and her on screen gal pal "have a blast."

Hayden says that she is tired of romantic relationships with men and she asked the producers to add a little "spice" to the next season. This little blonde is smarter than I thought. I can't even imagine what would take place in that steamy scene with all of Hayden's on-screen supernatural abilities.
