Hayden Panettiere has something to celebrate this weekend, as she rings in her 22nd birthday! The petite actress has a wide variety of interests, so we can’t even begin to speculate how she might spend the big day.
While she is best known for her role on the superhero TV series Heroes, Hayden is actually a Hollywood vet! You can spot her as a young girl in Remember the Titans and she acted in soaps for years as a child. Most recently, she sported a fresh short hair cut in the outrageous Scream 4.
Off the screen, Hayden is an outspoken activist for animal rights, and she appeared in the documentary The Cove about fighting to end the slaughter of dolphins in Japan. She has also been active in organizations that work to prevent teen pregnancy.
She has had a few high profile relationships over the last few years, although she broke up with mammoth boxer Wladimir Klitschko earlier this year. Hayden has also been connected to Laguna Beach star Stephen Colletti and dated her Heroes co-star Milo Ventimiglia.
