Hayden Panettiere has described Heroes as a "godsend". The 22-year-old actress, who played cheerleader Claire Bennet on the hit sci-fi TV series until it ended in February 2010 after four seasons, said the show helped keep her out of trouble. "Heroes wasn't just a show, it was a massive, massive production that was ten months out of the year and definitely monopolised my life. At that period of time, it was probably a godsend for me," she told Parade.com.
"It kept me busy, kept me out of trouble. It was steady. It was a great place for me to be at that point in my life."While she wouldn't rule out a return to the small screen, Hayden reckons she wouldn't want to commit to another series like Heroes. "I definitely wouldn't be opposed to doing another show. I don't think I would do a show like Heroes though," she continued.
"I would like to have a bit of an easier schedule, but then again, you never say never. I'd love to see what comes along and it's almost pilot season, so it's time to read some scripts soon. At the same time, I'm young. I'm anxious, but I try to remind myself that there's plenty of time and not rush it and take things in my stride."
