A male streaker "surprised" Hayden Panettiere when he ran onstage at the MTV Europe Music Awards Sunday. "Hello, apparently the only way out is back that way," joked the completely nude man that was later identified by U.K.'s Daily Mail as Irish actor David Monahan.
When Panettiere, 22, apologized for the inconvenience, Monahan, who used his hands to cup his private parts, cut her some slack. “It's not your fault," he responded, adding, "So um, enough about me … you were in that show ‘Heroes,’ yeah?"
The situation got a little hairy when Panettiere suggested her new undressed friend "come grab a pint with us" later on that evening. "I would love that. Um, I don't have my phone on me though," Monahan joked. "You know what? I'll just leave you to it and I'll see you at the after show."
The audience - and Panettiere - didn't have to wait that long. The stark naked actor raised his arms, yelled "She was a cheerleader" and ran off stage. Despite the staged shocker, Panettiere composed herself enough to present Lady Gaga the Best Song award for "Born This Way."No word on if she and Monahan met up for that pint.
